Sunday, June 1, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm: NPC End of Year Picnic & Reunion! Optional potluck. Free parking, all welcome. Picnic Sites 67-69, Look Park, 300 North Main Street, Florence. Rain date is Sunday, June 8.
Friday, June 6, 9:30 am – 11:30 am: ECC Presents Playgroup – Playdates at Smith College Museum of Art. The museum will open early for play and art experiences for 2-5 year-olds and their caregivers. Attendance is capped at 30 children and registration is required. Smith College Museum of Art, 20 Elm Street, Northampton.
Saturday, June 7, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm: NPC 2025 Annual Tag Sale and one of our biggest fundraisers of the year! Gently used kids and adult items are pay-what-you-want and 100% of funds go to support NPC’s free programs.For full details, please go here. Thursday, June 12, 4:45 pm – 6:00 pm (in-person): ECC Presents Workshop – More Pathways to Play [Part 2] w/ Chrissy D’Agostino: How Micro Moments of Play and Connection Can Transform Even the Most Challenging Routines and Sticky Moments with Young Children. Chrissy is back with a follow-up to Pathways to Play with more strategies and practical examples! Participation in April’s Part 1 is NOT required to attend this workshop. Thursday June 26, 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Zoom): Sensory Needs and Behavioral Concerns in Children [Part 2] with registered occupational therapist, Dan Lemaire. All are welcome! This workshop will discuss the link between unmet sensory needs and behavioral challenges. Parents will get insight into what causes kids’ sensory systems to get overwhelmed, how they can prevent this from happening, and how to decrease the duration and intensity of behavioral concerns when they arise.
