Infant Group, Music Thursday, and New Toys!

Thursday at playgroup means Infant Group and Music Thursday! Today’s Music Thursday guest is Lily from Little Roots.

Saliq Francis Savage, RMT (Registered Movement Therapist) and IDME (Infant Developmental Movement Education certified), will also be at Infant Group in the small playroom/rice table room. Saliq will provide gentle, hands-on support with babies and share practical tips and best practices to help parents and caregivers nurture healthy development. Can’t make it today? Saliq will be at Infant Group every Thursday until the end of playgroup season.

AND check out the beautiful new toys from an anonymous donor! NPC received another new box of Lovevery toys, and they have been a very welcome and well-loved addition to our playroom. Thank you to the anonymous donor!

We are still in need of napkins and nut-free snacks: cheese crackers, regular crackers, pretzels, veggie straws, any healthy snack appropriate for the 5 and younger crowd. For other current donation needs, please go to NPC’s In-Kind Donations page. Thank you for your help and generosity!

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
