ECC Presents

NPC is very fortunate to be partnered with Northampton Public School’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) – Ashley, who’s at playgroup every Monday for Art with Ashley, is from ECC!

In addition to being at playgroup and supporting NPC with their expertise and experience, ECC offers amazing parent/caretaker workshops, family events, and playdates for children ages birth to 8, every month. All are FREE, and many happen monthly – Family Gametime, Caregiver Café, Playdates at Smith College.

Some upcoming ECC Presents offerings for March:

• Sunday, March 1, 8:00 am – 11:30 am: ECC Presents – Revive Outside with Kestrel Land Trust AND Department of Conversation & Recreation.
• Tuesday, March 3, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm: ECC Presents – Monthly Caregiver Café.
• Thursday, March 5, 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Zoom): ECC Presents Workshop – “Setting Effective Boundaries with Young Children” with Chrissy D’Agostino, Independent Educational Consultant and Parent Educator.
• Thursday, March 19, 10:00 am – 11:00 am: ECC Presents – Stroller Tour at Smith College Museum of Art.
• Tuesday, March 24, 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm: ECC Presents – Family Game Time at Forbes Library.
• Tuesday, March 31, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (Zoom): ECC Presents Workshop – Naptime Zoom! “Simple Kitchen Science” with Kathleen Mahoney, NPS Instructional Coach.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
