ECC Presents

NPC is very fortunate to be partnered with Northampton Public School’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) – Ashley, who’s at playgroup every Monday for Art with Ashley, is from ECC!

In addition to being at playgroup and supporting NPC with their expertise and experience, ECC offers amazing parent/caregiver workshops, family events, and playdates for children ages birth to 8. All are FREE, and many are monthly.

NEW for 2026 – 2027! Friday Playgroups at Jackson Street School! You asked and the wonderful folks at ECC heard! NEW Friday playgroups at Jackson Street School, once a month on select Fridays. For children ages 0 – 5. From 10:00 am – 11:30 am on September 11 / October 16 / November 13, December 11 / January 8 / February 12, and April 9 / May 14 / June 11. Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
