Fall Playgroup Schedule is Here!

The 2026 Fall playgroup schedule is here! Weekly Monday through Thursday starting September 8, 2026, and going until December 17, 2026. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are indoors at the Edwards Church playspace. Tuesdays are outdoors at the Hampshire YMCA. For more information and the daily schedule including NPC’s weather policy, please go to the Playgroup page.

Our first Music Thursday guest will be Maggie Shar from Little Roots! And don’t forget Infant Group at 8:30 am on Thursdays too!

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
