FREE Summer Family Programs at River Valley Co-op

River Valley Co-op’s Summer Family Program for 2026 will be on Thursdays from 9:00 am – 10:00 am, at the Easthampton store’s outdoor patio. The first session, Your Story, takes place Thursday, July 2, 9:00 – 10:00 am. The program runs the rest of the summer until August 27, 2026 and is FREE – check out the full class schedule.

Activities are designed for kids, but everybody in the family is welcome! No registration required.

Led by Mariah Freemole, Nature Preschool educator and teacher of young children for the past 20 years. Mariah is a certified Deep Play for Kids instructor and a Forest Kindergarten Teacher. She is also a mindfulness educator and a graduate of the Engaged Mindfulness Institute’s teacher certification program.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
