Northampton Parents Center is generously supported by your donations and through grants. We are funded by the following grants:

• Coordinated Family & Community Engagement (CFCE) from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, administered by Northampton Public Schools;
• United Way of Franklin & Hampshire Region; and
• City of Northampton ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act).

Music programs are funded by a grant from the Northampton Arts Council, a local agency which receives funding from Mass Cultural Council; and the Mass Cultural Council.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.
