Ice Art Festival in Downtown Northampton, Saturday, January 31!

January 28, 2026 by NPC Admin

The 15th Annual Ice Art Festival will be THIS Saturday, January 31, in downtown Northampton. The festival will feature 17 frozen art locations spread throughout downtown— including at NPC in front of Edwards Church! – making the city feel like a walkable winter art gallery.

This free, all-day festival is a beloved winter tradition that highlights the energy of downtown Northampton while supporting local artists, shops, restaurants, and gathering spaces. Whether you’re watching live ice carving, strolling between sculptures, or warming up inside your favorite local spot, the Ice Art Festival offers something for everyone.

Sculptures will be viewable as long as the weather allows! Take a stroll around downtown Northampton – maps for sculptures are available at Forbes Library.
