Infant Development Movement and Special Guests at Playgroup – Tomorrow, February 12

Two special visitors for Infant Group and regular Playgroup tomorrow, February 12!

Saliq Francis Savage, RMT (Registered Movement Therapist) and IDME (Infant Developmental Movement Education certified), will be at Infant Group this week, in the small playroom/rice table room. Saliq will provide gentle, hands-on support with babies; share practical tips, tricks, and best practices to help parents and caregivers nurture healthy development; and be available to answer questions. Can’t make it tomorrow? Saliq will be at Infant Group every Thursday starting March 26.

Plagroup Visitor Dan Lemaire, OT/R, will also be at both Infant Group and regular Playgroup to chat about sensory processing and behavioral concerns in children. Don’t miss Dan’s naptime Zoom workshop after playgroup! Sign up on ECC Presents.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
