It Takes A Village Visiting Thursday, 11/20 and Monday, 11/24

Tara from It Takes A Village will be visiting playgroup tomorrow, Thursday, 11/20, and Monday, 11/24. Tara will share resources, answer questions about It Takes A Village’s programs, and have free books, hats, and mittens from the Village Closet.

About It Takes A Village: It Takes a Village is a women-led nonprofit dedicated to being the “village” every family deserves. What began with one mother supporting her neighbor has grown into programs designed to address the immediate challenges of the postpartum period, meet children’s basic needs, and nurture the emotional well-being of families. Over the past decade, It Takes A Village has distributed $3.4 million in essential supplies and delivered critical services to nearly 27,000 people. It Takes A Village is located in Huntington, MA.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
