Playgroup runs Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The 2025 schedule begins Monday, January 6, 2025 and continues through Thursday, June 12, 2025. NPC generally follows the Northampton Public Schools calendar for holiday closures. Please note that NPC also follows Northampton Public Schools for snow days.
Mondays: Indoors at NPC.
Tuesdays: Indoors at NPC.
Wednesdays: Outdoors at Hampshire Regional YMCA playground. Indoors if inclement weather: rain/snow/too cold (30 degrees or below with wind chill). Check our website, Facebook, or Instagram to see if playgroup will be inside or outside that week. Updates are posted by 8:00 am on Wednesdays.
Thursdays: Indoors at NPC. Infant Group at 8:30 am and Music Thursday with Weekly Special Guest from 11:00 am – 11:30 am.
General Daily Schedule (subject to change):
9:30 am – Playgroup Start
10:15 am – Snack Time: nut-free and usually some kind of fruit. Donations of healthy, nut-free snacks are always welcome!
11:00 am – Clean-up Time
11:15 am – Circle Time
Northampton Parents Center is located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton. Our address is 297 Main Street, Northampton 01060. We are wheelchair accessible! Please use public parking (do not park in the church lot) and enter through the back entrance on State Street.
The Hampshire Regional YMCA is at 286 Prospect St, Northampton.
