Save the Date! NPC’s First Doula Meet & Greet, March 15

Please join NPC for our first Doula Meet & Greet, Sunday, March 15, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm! FREE and all welcome. Come chat with doulas and groups offering birth and postpartum support for parents, caregivers, and families of infants and those expecting at NPC’s family-friendly playgroup space in Edwards Church.

What is a doula? A doula is a special companion who supports parents during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Parents supported by doulas report high satisfaction rates with their birth experiences and lower rates of postpartum depression.

Are you a doula/organization and interested in a table? Registration information is here, or contact Lindsey at northamptonparentscenter@gmail.com. There is no fee for a table, and the deadline for vendor registration is Thursday, February 26.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.
