Northampton Parents Center Soapy Cleanup and Stock Up Party, Thursday, Sept 3, 9:30 am - 11:30 am. Bring a change of clothing in case kids get wet. We will be sponging down and wiping clean riding and small toys, and collecting supplies to stock up for the 2026-2027 playgroup season! Current donation needs: napkins, hand sanitizing gel, fragrance-free baby wipes, rice for rice table, cream cheese, ground coffee and tea, nut-free snacks.

Save the Date for Northampton Parents Center’s yearly Soapy Cleanup and Stock Up Party, Thursday, Sept 3, 9:30 am – 11:30 am! Help NPC get ready for the 2026 – 2027 playgroup season! We will be sponging down and wiping clean riding and small toys, and collecting supplies to stock up for the year. Bring a change of clothing and a towel in case kids get wet. Coffee/tea will be available 🙂

Current donation needs for the upcoming playgroup season include: fragrance-free baby wipes, napkins, paper plates, name tag stickers; cream cheese, ground coffee and tea, nut-free snacks, fruit. We also need rice for the rice table and playdough! Undyed rice is fine (check back here for rice dyeing and playdough recipes).

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible. On-street parking or in downtown area parking lots and garages.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.
