This Saturday – Safety Village Playdate!

Northampton Public Schools Early Childhood Center is hosting a Safety Village Playdate tomorrow, Saturday, 5/17/2025, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm!

Climb aboard a fire engine, play with bubbles & stomp rockets, bring wheels to ride or borrow one! Free bike helmets and locks. No registration needed. Watch this space or go to ECC’s Family Signup for weather updates.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a nonprofit cooperative drop-in center for children, birth to kindergarten age, and their caregivers. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a safe, nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

The Parents Center is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission Statement

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a safe and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

Support

Generously supported by your donations, and partially funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care administered by Northampton Public Schools. Additional funding provided by City of Northampton ARPA funds and the United Way of the Franklin & Hampshire Region.

All donations to NPC are tax deductible. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
