FREE Parenting Workshop at River Valley Coop – Wednesday, September 17

River Valley Coop is hosting a FREE virtual parenting seminar on Wednesday, September 17, 7:00 pm: Beyond “Because I Said So”: How to Engage Cooperation with Children.

Why does my child keep pushing after I have said “no”? How can I get my child to listen without having to ask them many times? My child seems to think that they are the one in charge here. Help! Chores for children – necessary or not? Come spend an hour and a half with Sarah Getoff, who has 35 years of experience as an Educator, Psychotherapist and Parent Coach and 21 years of experience as a Mom.

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a drop-in center for families and caregivers of young children, birth to kindergarten. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize, find resources, and build connections. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

We are located in the lower level of Edwards Church, at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a nurturing and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

NPC is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets, in downtown Northampton. We are wheelchair accessible.
