Coming Up!: Week of the Young Child, Saturday 4/5 – Saturday 4/12

Northampton is celebrating Week of the Young Child next week, Saturday 4/5 to Saturday 4/12. Mark your calendars for a weeklong celebration of the youngest members of our amazing community. ALL events are FREE!

Mayor’s Proclamation and special Circle Time guest Swansea on Monday, visits from Smith College Mind Lab and Children’s Advocacy Center on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Music Thursday with Carrie Ferguson! Don’t forget Thursday Infant Group! More info here, or download the calendar.

Special shoutout to A2Z Science and Learning Toy Store for hosting a Celebrate Play fundraiser during Week of the Young Child for NPC. A2Z is donating 10% of their sales – both in-person and online – to NPC on Sunday, 4/6! Face-painting AND Mr. Liam! We love you A2Z 🙂

Northampton Parents Center

Northampton Parents Center is a nonprofit cooperative drop-in center for children, birth to kindergarten age, and their caregivers. Since 1986, Northampton Parents Center (NPC) has provided a safe, nurturing environment for families with young children to socialize. Free daily drop-in playgroups are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 11:30 am. More information here.

The Parents Center is located in the lower level of Edwards Church at the corner of State and Main Streets in downtown Northampton.

Mission Statement

Since 1986, the mission of Northampton Parents Center has been to provide a safe and friendly space for young children and their caregivers to meet and play; to find support and resources; and to create connections and friendships.

Support

Generously supported by your donations, and partially funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care administered by Northampton Public Schools. Additional funding provided by City of Northampton ARPA funds and the United Way of the Franklin & Hampshire Region.

All donations to NPC are tax deductible. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
